| Dear Concerned Parents:
This is an exciting time for your teen. As a parent,
you may be a little excited
for them yourself for they
are about to get their "wings"
and you won't have to haul
them around anymore. Yet no
parent hands a set of car
keys to their child without
some anxiety.
Let me assure you that you have come to the right place.
First Class Driving School
strives to train your teen
better than the average driver's
ed. program. As our Mission
Statement says, we do not
want to stand still while
our citizens are injured and
killed. We want to pro-actively
reach new and experienced
drivers alike and make a difference
in traffic safety, as a whole.
If you are here, you have already
concluded not all driving
schools are alike. Would we
send our child to a surgeon
that we knew nothing about,
including their credentials,
experience, nor even their
bedside manner? Driving an
automobile has the same life
altering potential as that
of a major surgery. DO NOT
RISK THIS ONCE IN A LIFETIME
OPPORTUNITY to influence your
teen’s driving behavior
by sending them off to just
any driver's ed. program.
I encourage you to ask the hard questions. Exactly
what will they be doing in the 30 hours of class? Specifically,
what will be covered in each driving lesson? Then, be
there when your teen is done with their lesson, and
make certain they drove the time they are legally required.
You pay for it, demand they get it. We like to say:
"A quality driver training program is priceless".
I say, "Questions of your potential driving school,
they are the anti-crash."
Once you find a quality training course, your investment
has just begun. Experts agree, the 6 hour behind the
wheel minimum (created back in 1933) is in no shape
or form enough hours to prepare your teen to make split
second, decisions as they attempt to manage today’s
traffic.
Think of how much time and money you have invested
in your teen’s extracurricular activities. Why
not make the better investment in their safety? Parents
should consider paying a professional driving school
to drive at least 12 hours with their teen and then,
personally invest another 40 to 50 hours training with
your permitted driver. This is a minimum; 100 hour’s
experience is a much better standard (investment).
Feel free to email me with your questions or comments.
We look forward to making a difference in your teen's
life.
